If you follow the Browns, Jared Verse is still stewing over last week's 27-6 loss at Pittsburgh. He said Thursday he was “upset” his teammates didn't defend him after Steelers guard Mason McCormick body-slammed him onto his head on Pittsburgh's first point-after kick, with 8:02 left in the first quarter.

“The lack of reaction by those around me upset me a lot.”
Verse says he and his teammates have talked it through. “I’ve made my concerns known,” he said.

At quarterback, Deshaun Watson is in the concussion protocol after a helmet-to-helmet hit in that loss, and he missed practice again. That points to Shedeur Sanders starting Sunday at New Orleans, his first start of the season.
